Okta Onboarding for Android devices

Body

1.) On your Android device, navigate to the Google Play Store Google Play Store app icon, emphasized.
2.) Search for "Okta Verify" and select "Install" "Okta Verify" Play Store page with the "Install" button emphasized.
3.) Select "Open" "Okta Verify" Play Store page with the app installed and the "Open" button emphasized.
4.) On the "Welcome to Okta Verify" page, select "Get Started" "Welcome to Okta Verify" page with the "Get Started" button emphasized.
5.) On the "How it works" page, select "Next" Okta "How it works" page with the "Next" button emphasized.
6.) On the "Ways to verify" page, select "Add Account" Okta "Ways to verify" page with the "Add Account" button emphasized.
7.) On the "Choose Account Type" page, select "Organization" Okta "Choose Account Type" page with the "Organization" option emphasized.

8.) If prompted to add an account from another device, select "Skip"

** NOTE **

The next few steps are completed on the computer.  After clicking "Skip", you will be at the "Scan a QR Code" screen on your device.  Remain on this screen until directed in a future step.

9.) On your computer, navigate to Gmail and open the "Welcome to Okta!" E-mail. Within the E-mail, click "Activate Okta Account" PCOM "Welcome to Okta" E-mail with the "Activate Okta Account" button emphasized.
10.) On the Okta log-in screen, enter your PCOM network password (1.) and then click "Verify" (2.) PCOM Okta log-in screen with emphasis on both the "Password" text field and "Verify" button.
11.) On the "Set up security methods" page, click "Set up" under the "Okta Verify" section Okta "Set up security methods" page with emphasis on the "Set up" option under the "Okta Verify" section.
12.) On the "Set up Okta Verify" page, you will be presented with a QR code.  Do not do anything with it yet - continue to Step #13. "Set up Okta Verify" page with a QR code displayed but redacted for security purposes.
13.) On your Android device, you will be on the "Do you have your QR Code?" page. Click "Yes, Ready to Scan" "Do you have your QR code? screen with an emphasis on the "Yes, ready to scan" button.
14.) If prompted, allow permissions for the Okta Verify app to use the camera.  Line up the camera on your Android device to scan the QR code from Step #12 above to register the device.  If prompted to "Enable screen lock confirmaion", select "Not now" Okta "Enable screen lock confirmation" page with the "Not now" button emphasized.
15.) On the "Account added" page,  select "Done" Okta "Account added" page with the "Done" button emphasized.
16.) You will then have an "sso.pcom.edu" account with your E-mail address listed and a six digit code that refreshes every minute.  No further action is needed on your Android device.  Continue to the next step on your computer. Okta Verify app displaying a six-digit code for sso.pcom.edu
17.) On your computer, you will be returned to the the "Set up security methods" page.  Under the "Security Question" section, click "Set up" Okta "Set up security methods" page with emphasis on the "Set up" option under the "Security Question" section.

18.) Choose a Security Question (1.), enter the answer to the Security Question (needs to be at least 4 characters) (2.), and then click "Verify" (3.)

** NOTE **

Alternatively, instead of selecting an existing security question from the list, you can select the radio button to "Create my own security question" and then enter your own security question.

19.) You will be redirected to your PCOM SSO dashboard. Click on the "Confirm Okta Verify Setup" app to confirm the Okta Verify app on your Android device is correctly configured

20.) On the Okta log-in screen, enter your PCOM network password (1.) and then click "Verify" (2.)

21.) You will be presented with a page indicating the push has been sent

** NOTE **
You should receive a notification on your Android device to confirm the Okta Verify setup.  Click "Yes, it's me" on your Android device in the Okta Verify app to verify

22.) You will then be presented with a page indicating that "You have completed the two factor setup successfully!" PCOM page indicating "You have completed the two factor setup successfully"
23.) If you have not previously accessed the https://erp.pcom.edu website, your Okta onboarding steps are complete and you can stop here.  If you previously had accessed the https://erp.pcom.edu website, please browse to that site and click the "Continue with Okta" button "Secure Site, Login Required" screen with emphasis on the "Continue with Okta" button
24.) Enter your PCOM network username (not your PCOM E-mail address) (1.), enter your PCOM network password (2.), and then click "Sign in" (3.) PCOM sign-in page with emphasis on the email text field, password text field, and "Sign in" button.
25.) Click "Confirm" Okta "Change Login Preference" page with emphasis on the "Confirm" button
26.) Click "OK" Okta E-mail confirmation page with emphasis on the "Okay" button
27.) Access your PCOM E-mail and open the message received from Squarespace.  Click the link to "Use Okta" Squarespace "Change your login method" E-mail with emphasis on the "Use Okta" button
28.) You will be presented with a Dashboard from Squarespace.  There are no actions to take on this page and you can close it Squarespace Dashboard
29.) You are now able to navigate to the https://erp.pcom.edu website again and should be able to access the site successfully PCOM ERP website homepage
